NAO Administrator

Title: NAO/NAO – Ontario Administrator
Location: Toronto, Downtown
Role: Administrator
Time Requirements: Full-time

The National Organization (NAO) and National Angel Organization – Ontario are seeking an Administrator

The Administrator will be responsible for the daily administration of the not-for-profit industry association representing Canada's flourishing Angel investor community in Canada.  In this role, the Administrator will have a wide-range of responsibilities in the execution of NAO and NAO – Ontario programs.

In addition to the administration of the NAO and NAO - Ontario, this position will also assist both the President and the Executive Director in matters of scheduling, organization, and communications. The Administrator reports to Executive Director and President.

A detailed list of tasks pertaining to this position is below:

Tasks

•    Manage calendar for Executive Director and President
•    Assists in the development and maintenance of department processes
•    Support program development and delivery
•    Support coordination of events
•    Organize NAO / NAO – Ontario meetings
•    Work independently on ad hoc projects as assigned
•    Screen calls as required
•    Provide overflow support to the President, Executive Director, and Events and Media Manager
•    Provide support as needed to other areas within the organization
•    Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, proposals and presentations
•    Manage the NAO database
•    Make travel arrangements
•    Record thorough and clear meeting minutes
•    Administer accounts receivables and payables
•    Respond to Email requests
•    Execute other administrative duties as required

Qualifications

•    Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and ability to create and merge documents across applications
•    High energy level with 2 to 5 years experience in an Admin role
•    Post Secondary Diploma/Degree, or equivalent combination of education and business experience
•    Must be able to work on multiple activities and projects at one time
•    Proven ability to work independently and within tight timeframes
•    Collaborative style to work effectively with colleagues
•    Ability to coordinate and prioritize concurrent projects, with proven follow-up skills
•    Ability to work with minimal supervision
•    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
•    Strong organizational and time management skills
